May 3, 1952 ~ September 11, 2016 (age 64)

On Saturday Sept 24, 2016 we gathered with the family and friends of James in Midland to celebrate his life and the valued contribution he made in support of the first building on our leadership center in Wongonyi village. See BLOG for further details.

Serah and Ronnie embrace James on April 16, 2016 when he announces his contribution to allow Ronnie to commence building our first classroom at the Leadership center

James was able to watch the progress of the build all summer. This was perhaps the last image he saw as the walls went up on top of the very solid stone foundation. James passed away just two days after this picture was taken. James family have kindly selected The Ronnie Fund as the only designated charity for memorial gifts in James name. We look forard to being able to complete this building in his memory for the provision of education  in Wongonyi village

Bracebridge United Church

The Ronnie Fund has many supporters however Bracebridge United Church stands out. As Kathy and Peter are members of BUC, it is only natural that many friends from church also support the work that Ronnie is doing in Kenya. The church itself supports The Ronnie Fund with many financial contributions through the years via regular communion collections and money from the Special Gifts Fund. They continue to show their belief in Peter, Kathy and Ronnie for this valuable work in Kenya. BUC knows that all donations are spent 100% in Kenya and really make a difference in lives there.
